The classes, videos, newsletters and other content offered by Yoga with Allyson ("we", "us") are for general education and wellbeing only. This includes our in-person classes, online classes, recordings and website.
Not medical, psychological or therapeutic advice
Nothing we offer is medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. It is not therapy, counselling or mental health care, and it does not replace care from a doctor, psychologist, counsellor or other qualified professional.
Allyson Neilson is a yoga teacher, not a medical or mental health professional.
Classes for calming an anxious mind
Our classes focused on anxiety share tools and practices drawn from Allyson Neilson's personal experience and yoga training. They are offered as general wellbeing practices. They are not designed to diagnose or treat anxiety or any other condition, and they may not suit everyone.
Please check with your doctor or a qualified health professional before starting yoga, especially if you are pregnant, injured, recovering from surgery, or managing a physical or mental health condition. If you are experiencing anxiety or other mental health concerns, please seek support from a qualified mental health professional.
Listen to your body. Rest, modify or stop any practice that causes pain, discomfort or distress.
If you are in crisis
Our classes and content are not crisis support. If you or someone you know is in immediate danger, call 911. For mental health crisis support in the United States, call or text 988, or chat at 988lifeline.org, to reach the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline.
When you take an online class or use a recording, the teacher cannot see you or adjust your practice in person. You are responsible for practising in a safe, clear space, using suitable props, and supervising any children in your care. You practise at your own risk.
Everyone's experience is different. We do not promise or guarantee any particular result, including a reduction in anxiety, stress or physical symptoms.
Children's classes are booked by a parent or guardian. Parents and guardians are responsible for deciding whether a class is suitable for their child and for supervising their child during online classes.
